May 2006 – Searer Business Technology Inc. Acquires Executive Series from Sage
Wilmington DE, May 1, 2006 – Searer Solutions, Inc. (Searer Business Technology) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Executive Series and Director Series accounting systems from Sage Software.
Executive Series and Director Series offer source code for customization purposes, a distinctive feature in the accounting software marketplace. Executive Series and Director Series support multiple databases including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and SAP ASE. Executive Series was previously marketed under the names SBT, ACCPAC Executive Series and SBT Executive Series. Searer Business Technology, Inc. had been a leading reseller of the Executive Series and Director Series product lines and also a provider of technical, customization, and training services to other resellers.
